Cascade Springs on the Alpine Loop
Starting to Love Fall
Taken in Provo Canyon at Cascade Springs and Squaw Peak.
Frost
The weather is so cold lately that the frost has been really heavy. It hasn’t snowed here for almost 3 weeks, so what’s covering all the branches and leaves is pure frost. The ground of course is the snow that hasn’t melted yet.
Winter All Around
We got a break in the snow today and I drove out to a back road to snap some of these. I basically pulled over and turned in a circle taking pictures. Since it’s a lot of farm and open area back there no one had gone through trampling in the snow so it still looked freshly fallen.
Moab
Payson Scenic Loop
The crazy thing about these pictures is that there were taken the same day as the ones in the entry below labled Spanish Fork Hot Springs and yet the surroundings look completely different. These definitely look like winter while the others still resemble fall. Not only were they taken the same day but not many miles apart.
Spanish Fork Hot Springs
These were taken along the Diamond Head trail in Spanish Fork. I had no idea there were natural hot springs in the Utah valley. Some of the pictures may seem a little reduntant but they all have something a little different in them that I really like. The bottom picture didn’t seem like much the first couple of times I looked at it but now it’s one of my favorites. I love how the red leaves look like a brush fire and how the one green tree prominately stands out from the rest of landscape.
